Asia and North Europe - National Golden Week vessel cancellations
Owing to the approach of the National Day Golden Week celebrations in October, we have made certain changes to our network to absorb the decreased demand as production flows slow down on account of factories being closed during this period.
Westbound sailings impacted by the National Day Golden Week are listed below:
Week 40 (3-9 October)
AE8 Maersk Emden / voy.1110 - will be cancelled
AE9 Maersk Sembawang / voy.1112 - will be cancelled
WEEK 41 (10-16 October)
AE8 Maersk Essen / voy.1110 - will be cancelled
AE9 Maersk Serangoon / voy.1112 - will be cancelled
In order to ensure that customers are minimally inconvenienced, we will endeavour to cover requirements by shifting volumes to other services in our network that cover similar geographies.

If your shipment must get on board, you now have options
When you’re in the middle of a tight supply chain, timing can sometimes make a world of difference. Your customers are pressuring you for their products, because their customers are pressuring them – and a delayed shipment can harm your reputation and even lead to lost business.
The answer is Yes
As hard as we strive to ensure available capacity, vessels do fill up – and customers like you are sometimes unable to complete a booking. That’s why we’ve introduced the Priority Product upgrade – a money-back, priority loading that you purchase at the time of booking, in cases where your booking would otherwise be rejected.
